EOI - Senior Rotating Equipment SpecialistDescriptionRotation Solutions is a growing Australian business, passionately delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to light industrial gas turbine users across the Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, and Defence sectors.Due to our ongoing growth, we are taking Expressions of Interest for a Senior Rotating Equipment Specialist role, to join and actively develop our dynamic team in Australia.The Rotating Equipment Specialist serves as the Subject Matter Expert in the Operation and Maintenance of Gas Turbines, primarily light industrial and aeroderivative models.Your responsibilities would typically encompass:Customer site based (onshore and offshore) ~ 40% of time:Expert guidance in executing complex work scopes on Gas Turbine packages, including:Borescope inspectionsDry Gas Seal & Bearing ReplacementsTroubleshooting, fault finding, diagnostics & investigationComplex projects (involving multiple scopes, retrofits, commissioning, etc.)On-the-job training of Junior Field Technicians and EngineersConducting research and investigations for innovative solutions to identified equipment issuesAssisting with onsite execution of other equipment types (e.g., GE Aero, Rolls Royce, Siemens) and supporting general mechanical worksRS Office based ~ 60% of time:Serve as the technical authority for both internal (RS) and external (customer) technical support of turbines produced by Solar TurbinesLead project planning, preparation, and management of field work from concept to delivery and sign-offManage multiple projects concurrentlyDevelop and deliver technical training for Field Specialists and EngineersEnhance the overall business technical capacity on supported Turbine modelsEngage in R&D activities, including design, manufacturing management, testing, etc., for customer equipment needs, issues, and problemsProvide customer support for the operation and maintenance of their industrial assetsLeadership and Development:Act as a leader within the RS team, embodying our core values of Taking Responsibility, Winning as a Team, and Aiming for ExcellenceDemonstrate exemplary work ethic, quality workmanship & innovative problem solvingTake responsibility for ensuring clients' critical machinery runs safely and efficiently through your technical expertise and hands-on skillsPlay a key role in the technical development of the next generation of RS team members in Gas Turbine Operation and MaintenanceWhat we offer:A vibrant company culture that embodies our core values daily: We Take Responsibility.
