Expression of Interest: Orbital Analyst Role Overview: KBR is excited to invite Expressions of Interest for an Orbital Analyst role from highly skilled professionals with a deep understanding of space domain awareness and orbital mechanics.
We're looking for someone who is actively engaged in Defence, Space operations, or a related industry.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Iron Stallion, KBR's cutting-edge space domain awareness tool.
Candidates must hold an NV2 or TSPV security clearance.
Key Responsibilities: Become highly proficient in the use of Iron Stallion including the understanding of the algorithms used.
Conduct orbital analysis using Iron Stallion for the purposes of supporting customer needs.
Understand and work with the Unified Data Library (UDL).
Conduct UDL catalogue maintenance including record cleaning, validation and sanitation.
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth and well-represented relationship with KBR.
Demonstrate the use of Iron Stallion at selected trade shows, events and customer meetings.
Provide training to supported clients when requested.
Support the development of an Australian led training program for Iron Stallion.
Maintain administrative responsibilities IAW KBR policy, including but not limited to Workday Goals and Milestones.
Requirements: Proven experience in space domain awareness, orbital mechanics and/or orbital analysis.
Undergraduate degree in science, engineering, mathematics or another related field.
Hold current NV2 or TSPV security clearance.
Working experience or an understanding of ADF processes.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
