About Us At Australian Spatial Analytics, we exist to break down the barriers that neurodiverse individuals face when seeking meaningful employment. We are a social enterprise that trains and develops Data Analysts over an 18-month program, supporting them as they transition into long-term careers with our inclusive partner organisations.
Our team includes over 120 people across multiple offices, located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Cairns, and our newest location in Adelaide. We are one of Australia's largest work-integrated social enterprises (WISE) and we're proud of the impact we've made in just four years.

About the Role Due to growth of our team we're looking for an experienced leader to join our Adelaide office as our third Lead Data Analyst (Geospatial). You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and supporting a young team of data analysts who are eager to learn from your experience.
In this role, you will oversee data capture, maintenance, quality assurance, and analysis, while also supporting system and data enhancements for our clients. You'll be key in building a supportive and inclusive culture, where every team member's voice is heard.
You will work closely with the Program Coordinator in Service Delivery and the rest of our leadership team. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference by sharing your knowledge and developing the next generation of data professionals.
What We Offer A salary of $65,000-$70,000 with excellent salary packaging options (up to $15,900) Five weeks of annual leave per year (pro rata) Ongoing professional development opportunities A supportive, inclusive team culture Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Key Accountabilities Lead, mentor, and train your team of data analysts Provide work direction and delegate tasks Troubleshoot and solve problems with spatial datasets and workflows Work under minimal supervision across multiple projects Maintain high-quality standards across your own and your team's work Develop learning resources and provide constructive feedback to help your team grow Engage in client meetings and manage client expectations Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget Track production metrics and generate reports Maintain and manage process documentation Required Skills & Experience Experience leading or managing a team Experience with spatial and geographic information systems (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and improve workflows Experience providing technical support within your team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and take responsibility for project outcomes Experience delivering training and managing project documentation Why Join Us?
