Our long-standing knowledge is consolidated in the Maritime Excellence Center which provides training and consultancy.Headquartered in The Netherlands, KOTUG is active in Europe, Russia, Asia, Australia, Africa, Canada, and the Caribbean and continues to expand its operations worldwide.KOTUG Port Hedland is seeking a Marine Towage Scheduler for a full-time position, working with our Port Towage team in the mining hub of Port Hedland, Western Australia.Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working an 8/8 roster, your duties will include:Responsible for scheduling/planning all resources to ensure crews and tugs are allocated to tug jobs as required to meet the Final PPA Shipping Schedule (as amended from time to time);Manage scheduled bookings and any changes and continuously liaise schedules and changes with customers and Partnerships;Obtain forecasts from PPA when required;Prepares daily status reports to communicate supply concerns to stakeholders;Work with the PPA to address problems that may arise during a tug operation;Assist to execute scheduling strategies that optimise or impact changes in supply and work with internal and external partners to accommodate such changes;Works with Operations and Maintenance to develop a plan for planned/unplanned maintenance scenarios;Point of contact to other departments for scheduling clarification or issues;Prepare statistical data and reports as required;The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:A strong commitment to the KOTUG Values of One Team, Operational Excellence, Our People and Sustainability.High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.Required knowledge, skills and experience:Must have or able to attain a MSICMinimum successful completion of Secondary Education to Year 12Experience using a scheduling system and/or Maritime experience an advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working as a scheduler is desirableMinimum of C class manual drivers licenceLocation:Port Hedland residential, FIFO applications will not be considered.We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our busy and growing team - if the above sounds like you, this is a great opportunity to use your skills and knowledge to be part of this global enterprise.To apply:Applications accepted by e-mail to: ****** apply and register your interest in writing via Seek or the above email.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
