Environmental Health Officer

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you'll play a key role in promoting public health and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide high level professional and technical advice to members of the public and stakeholders.
Assess technical reports and development applications with relevant legislation.
Investigate reports and complaints of unacceptable risk, nuisance or statutory offences.
Manage the administration of regulatory matters.
Maintain current knowledge of environmental health legislation and make recommendations.

Qualifications:

Environmental Health Officer for a minimum of 3 years.
Must have strong knowledge of related legislation.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication including negotiation and conflict management skills.
Experience in preparing detailed reports and correspondence.
Strong customer service skills and effective stakeholder management skills.
Good research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines.
