Band 6 ($91,303 - $99,426 per annum)PermanentFlexible working arrangements availableEnvironmental Health graduates are encouraged to apply!Position Overview: As an Environmental Health Officer, you will support the provision of quality environmental health services which will enhance the health and lifestyle of the community. You will also ensure the effective and efficient administration of relevant Council policies, legislation, and regulations.
About You: Council is seeking an Environmental Health professional with a Degree/Diploma in Applied Science, Environmental Health, or a Diploma of Public Health and Certificate of Competency from the Victorian Health Department.
Experience working as an Environmental Health Officer in a regional local government or demonstrated experience in a relevant/similar field is desired, with knowledge of food safety, public health and wellbeing, onsite wastewater management, tobacco control, aquatic facilities, and complaint investigation.

You could also find yourself rowing on the Wimmera River or even hiking the trails in the magnificent Grampians.
