About the RoleYou will have experience with and excel in the key sampling methods for CLM (soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapour, landfill gas), technical report writing, and project management.
As an Environmental Consultant, you would be a valued member of the Helia EHS Contaminated Land Management (CLM) team, providing consultancy services whilst working on multi-disciplinary Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) across soil, groundwater, surface water, soil vapour, indoor air, and landfill gas.
Helia's Clients represent a wide range of industry, government, and developers with a deep and interesting active project list that will allow you to develop your consulting expertise.
To be a part of the Helia team, your core tasks will include:
The role will include work outside of the office e.g.
site work and may also include manual labour and physical tasks from time to time.Report preparation for Helia contaminated land projects (including PSIs and DSIs, remediation activities as necessary and soil / groundwater / soil vapour / landfill gas monitoring).Project management (including client liaison, financial tracking, and invoicing).Assisting in the development of a culture of best business practice.Management and mentoring of Junior consultants.Identification and capitalisation of potential new opportunities and clients.Being an agent of change so that Helia is continuously improving its management systems so that opportunities for improvement are recognised and implemented.Introducing innovation into the delivery of Helia services.Must live the Helia values.If this role sounds of interest to you, please apply here with your covering letter and CV and a National Police Check.
