What you'll be doing: Preparing and analysing environmental samplesUsing advanced laboratory techniques - we'll provide trainingCollecting, processing, and interpreting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standardsSupporting the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and troubleshooting any technical issuesDocumenting results, assisting in report preparation, and ensuring strict adherence to environmental safety regulationsAbout you: You're excited about science and want to use your skills to make a real difference in the worldYou're eager to learn new techniques and technologies and thrive in a hands-on, laboratory-based roleYou're highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision in your workYou're a great communicator, both written and verbal, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative teamYou're adaptable, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities as you grow in the roleTo be successful in this role you will have: A passion for science and an interest in environmental or analytical work5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Science, Maths, and EnglishAn A-level or equivalent in a scientific subjectAbility to follow instructions and procedures with precisionStrong attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate recordsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a teamWhy Join ALS: Join ALS as a leading life sciences company committed to environmental sustainability.
