We are now looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our team based out of our West Perth office. Reporting to the Senior Environment & Approvals Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of environmental aspects within the Andover project, focusing on obtaining and maintaining necessary approvals, developing agreements, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
The Role: Develop and submit applications under the WA Mining Act, RIWI, WA EPA Part V, and Commonwealth EPBC Act as required.Review and approve Site Disturbance Permits.Maintain spatial data sets to support permits and work programs.Support stakeholder engagement to facilitate approvals.Collaborate with the Health & Safety Team to align HSEQ systems and documentation.Maintain key environment registers, including Compliance Obligation and Environmental Risk.Assist in maintaining and improving the Andover Project Environmental Management Systems, processes, and tools.Prepare required reports and data sets under regulatory instruments and agreements.Contribute to developing and maintaining environment procedures, processes, and work instructions.Requirements: At least 3 years' experience as an Environmental Advisor in the mining industry or in a similar role within the resources sector.Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Management or similar.Working knowledge of the Western Australian and Commonwealth approvals processes and requirements.Excellent interpersonal and open communication skills.What you can expect: Great management starts from the top down; we are inclusive and respectful and allow people the autonomy to do what they do best.
