The Opportunity DT Infrastructure has been entrusted with the crucial role of managing the design and construction of the maintenance facility at Ormeau, solidifying our position as a key player in the infrastructure sector and building on our transport delivery experience over the last 10 years across Australia. This achievement marks our largest contract ever in Queensland and underscores our expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects.
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental & Sustainability Professional to manage the delivery of environment and sustainability requirements for the Ormeau Rail Facility. This position will lead a team of professionals to drive environmental compliance and delivery of the V1.2 Infrastructure Sustainability Council Rating.
Key Responsibilities Tertiary Qualifications (Degree, Master etc) in Environmental Science/ Engineering/ Energy / Management, Sustainability or similar. Greater than 8 years relevant experience Infrastructure Sustainability accredited professional (desirable) Ability to coach, lead and mentor others within the team. Experience working on major construction projects Experience managing environmental risks including erosion and sediment control and contamination Ability to influence project leaders and operators Identify and drive decarbonisation outcomes Collaborative team player Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written with all levels of an organization High attention to detail and analytical skills Effective planning, time management and organizational skills What we offer The ability to take the next step in your professional career in a multi-disciplined business environment.
