Engineering Officer – Airline Asset ManagementAn excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join Rex in the full-time role of Engineering Officer – Airline Asset Management, located at our Sydney Head Office.Position Responsibilities:Assist REX Group engineering management in:the Engineering Operations Process and Product enhancement and improvementthe design, review and improvement of KPIs including close tracking and analysis of themdiscrepancy investigations and responsesundertaking engineering projectsperforming reliability assessments of aircraft and aircraft componentsManage and plan engine MRO repair cyclesBuild engine repair cost modellingManage related freight movementsTravel frequently to Engine MRO facility in Indonesia for up to a month on site.Draft engine through life support reviews.Draft Regulatory completion position papers and NPRM responses.Prepare and present briefs at board level on engine asset management performance and budgets.Other duties as assignedKey Selection Criteria:Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplineExtensive software knowledge specific to document development and managementExperience in developing and reviewing technical documentationExperience working in Aviation industry an advantageFrequent travel required to other ports nationally and internationallyProven ability to work in a team environment, but also have an ability to work unsupervisedA demonstrated ability to manage engineering projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft suiteConditions:Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
