As an Employment Support Consultant - Disability Services, you'll be helping customers with a disability, once they are placed in a role. Helping them to sustain long term employment: assisting with workplace adjustments that may arise, leading discussions with managers and supporting our candidates with day-to-day queries.
Example of a workplace adjustment: A client may be overstimulated by the noise of machinery on site and be struggling in the workplace as a result. You may speak with the employer about the potential of noise-cancelling earphones that may solve the problem and allow the person to continue working in the role (if the role allows). Many situations may occur, your problem solving and customer service skills will see you succeed!
