We are seeking multiple positions to be filled, located in Cairns CBD and other locations across Cairns. As an Employment Consultant, you will support your Participants' journey to employment. This may involve upskilling or addressing challenges. Where necessary, you will manage referrals to specialist providers for non-vocational barriers.
Employment Services industry experience is not essential; however, a genuine interest in helping participants is crucial. If you have a positive attitude, can prioritize your workload, possess a high level of organizational skills, are an influential and effective communicator, and have sound administration skills, you might have found the job you have been looking for.

Responsibilities:
Deliver an individualized service to each Participant, assessing their job readiness and addressing barriers, both vocational and non-vocational, to employment. Work with each Participant in a culturally appropriate strengths-based model that supports them in achieving their goals. Deliver Post Placement Support to Participants and assist them in maintaining employment. Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are met. Ensure that all program guidelines are followed and adhered to. To be considered, you will have:
Current Working With Children Check. National Police Check or the willingness to complete one. Current QLD Drivers Licence. Rights to work in Australia (Citizen or permanent resident).
