Your OpportunityAs the Employment Consultant, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person and focuses on building their skills, confidence, and readiness to enter employment through targeted and tailored activities.
In this role, you will use your customer service skills and ability to build working relationships with young people to support them in gaining skills that will lead to meaningful, sustainable employment.
Your role will include:
Delivering tailored, outcome-driven employment services, including assessment, pathway development, employer outreach, and ongoing support for sustainable employment.Completing intake assessments with the job seeker to determine work readiness.Working in collaboration with the job seeker to goal set and implement strategies.Sourcing and matching employment opportunities for young job seekers using a strengths-based, client-centered approach.Connecting with relevant community organisations to support work readiness.Job matching, cold calling, and reverse marketing the job seeker to employers.What We Are Looking ForYou are passionate about what you do.
