The Role
An exciting CASUAL part time opportunity has become available to join our Disability Employment Services (DES) team in the position of Employment Consultant. Working 3 days a week, key responsibilities include:
Supporting participants into sustainable employment. Actively source job opportunities for your customers through marketing techniques. Working with customers face-to-face and over the phone. Advocating for people with a disability to potential employers within your local community. Educate your customers on interview preparation and workplace expectations. Identify and address your customers complex barriers to employment. Build rapport and maintain effective relationships with customers, employers, and community organisations. What You'll Need Experience in a similar position OR customer service, sales, or a client facing role. Highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a real change in people's lives through sustainable employment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Have full rights to live and work in Australia (with no restrictions). Have a Working with Children's Check in the state you are working (or willingness to get one).
