Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in developing and maintaining trust for our client by providing support and advise on escalated and complex people issues. The ER Specialist will also manage end to end formal performance, conduct and grievance cases. Location: Sydney CBD Pay Rate: $621.78 - $640.30 per day plus super Assignment type: 3 months full time temporary assignment Start: ASAP Submission deadline: midday 9th th October 2024 Key Responsibilities: Apply advanced knowledge to resolve employee matters and tasks fast and effectively. Manage informal performance improvement programs using employment law and regulatory frameworks. Provide creative, compliant solutions aligned with legislative frameworks and best practices. Collaborate with WHS to manage escalations safely and prevent psychosocial risks. Handle complex tasks requiring critical analysis and design processes as needed. Support leaders and teams in achieving timely, mutually beneficial outcomes. Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or qualifications a related field. 5 years of experience in HR, employee relations, or a related role. Case management experience. Strong expertise in employee relations and performance management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guiding and advising employees. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in P&C software, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to lead initiatives and drive change.
