Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic Full Time Café Manager to establish and manage our 'Embrace Café', a collaborative community initiative with Merribek City Council. This role involves overseeing all aspects of café operations, fostering community connections, and driving its mission to create an inclusive, welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities Include: Lead café operations, including team management, staffing, and supporting participants with disabilities to engage in meaningful work. Collaborate on marketing, financial tracking, and brand visibility for the café. Plan and execute soft and grand opening events, ensuring ongoing customer engagement. Oversee café operations, ensuring quality service, staff training, and a welcoming environment. Drive participant development and community engagement through feedback, events, and industry-aligned programs. NDIS Workers' Screening Check and Working with Children Check. CPR Certificate and Valid Drivers' License. Relevant Qualifications: Cert III in hospitality or equivalent experience, Barista Course is preferable, and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
