Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and a leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.
This is a fantastic time to come on board and be part of our team to help build our new Pipe and Tube Mill based in the Illawarra.
You'll be able to use your electrical skills and experience to support the new venture.
Working closely with the Maintenance & Reliability Leader, you'll assist in conducting and coordinating the electrical maintenance of Tube Mill and auxiliary equipment.
As the Tube Mill commissioning finalizes, you will assume the operational duties of this role, delivering a quality, cost-effective and flexible maintenance service for the department.
You will improve equipment performance and reliability by understanding plant and equipment condition and then implementing corrective actions as required.
What Will You Do? As part of this brand-new team and site, you will:
ensure safety standards are never compromised, making suitable changes when risks and opportunities are identifiedmaintain asset performance and collaborate with team members to improve equipment performance, capability and costsassist with maintenance and fault finding activities and strive for business improvementsproject manage asset maintenance projects aligned to operational objectivesbuild effective relationships to drive the continuous reliability of our assetsMore About You As an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will demonstrate a willingness to lead and develop teams in achieving team success.
