You have well developed electrical engineering aptitude, a thirst for or experience in project management, thorough technical understanding and are confident when communicating with clients, business partners and contributing to our team success culture.
About you Have 2-5 years' experience in an Australian building services consultancy. Experience with complex electrical services engineering, concept to construction completion. Experience working on fitout projects would be advantageous, but not critical. Practical knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and National Code of Construction. Proactive and innovative approach to solutions. Routinely demonstrate your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with the client, project team and internal teams. Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering. Take ownership for your role and prioritise planned deliverables. Intelligent and articulate verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, balance high attention to detail with efficiency, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven project, organisation and time management skills. Use latest technology – REVIT/AutoCAD, BIM360, HYENA, Microsoft Office and One Drive. Revit knowledge (and/ or willing to learn). Role specifics Deliver detailed design for all elements of Electrical (power, lighting, communications, security etc) engineering, design and documentation to scope expectations. Calculations and return briefs. Project involvement through all phases of a project, from tender preparation and design delivery through to construction support. Client engagement throughout a project lifecycle. Report writing. Multi-discipline team and project management. Client/ design meetings and site inspections. Satisfy codes, standards, project and quality requirements.
