This is a small Department, with the core focus being to maintain and improve Australia's law and justice framework. The Department also touches on womens and families rights.
The Role
As a Campaign Manager you will lead a small team and be responsible for the launch and delivery of a new advertising campaign, relating to elder abuse.
Your duties could include communication, public relations and content strategies; government information and behavior change campaigns; media and issues management; and management of social media, website or digital communication channels.
This is a 12 month non-ongoing or temp transfer position, with some scope for extension or longer term options.
Role Responsibilities
Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies.Write/edit content for a broad range of topics and communication channels, including web, social media, digital channels, media and public relations activities, marketing and information products.Manage effective relationships with stakeholders to negotiate and achieve our goals and successful communication outcomes.Maintain awareness of the immediate and longer-term strategic, political or operational issues for our organisation possible impacts on work areas.Mentor, guide and manage day to day tasks of a number of communication staff.Coordinate and manage the use of specialist project service providers, including contractors and consultants, and manage large budgets and complex
Your Skills And Experience
To be considered for this position you must have Government advertising campaign or strategic communications experience. You will be joining a busy, expert communications team and will be required to hit the ground running.
Experience managing campaigns relating to aged care, family, or crime prevention is highly desirable.
