The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. For many Australians, this will be the first time they receive the disability support they need. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability and will mean peace of mind for every Australian.
Salary: $116,118 - $127,090 (plus 15.4% superannuation)
Our participants, Our people, Our purpose The Chief Financial Officer Division is seeking an experienced EL1 Transformation and Change Implementation Manager to join the Scheme Payments Transformation Branch. The Scheme Payments Transformation Branch is the subject matter expert responsible for strategic planning and transformation of Scheme claiming and payment systems, ensuring alignment with government policies and priorities.
The branch drives priority projects across the Agency, using data to inform continuous improvement, which ensures process and system changes effectively support end-users to realize benefits.

Developing, implementing and evaluating change management activities, plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's Change Management Framework. Developing and maintaining business planning strategies for the business unit or office. Coordinating strategic planning for longer-term project initiatives and program management. Ensuring that change readiness assessments are completed, identifying areas of resistance and ensuring mitigation activities are in place. Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues. Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement. Reporting on program outcomes to internal and external stakeholders. Influencing and advising project sponsors on effective change management and implementation. Working closely with the project manager and the communication and engagement lead, planning and testing the effectiveness of the future state operating environment. Enough about us, let's talk about you Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the government financial environment, experience in developing reports & dashboards for presenting to Senior Management. They should possess highly developed stakeholder engagement and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with senior leaders and other stakeholders. They should have a demonstrated ability to engage in complex problem solving and issues management. You should have prior experience leading teams, as well as strong time management skills. Experience working with various systems such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SAP Financial systems, and Microsoft suite will hold you in good stead.
