The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is currently seekingapplications for an Assistant Director – TechnologyManagement, to join the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) .Thisposition can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart,Melbourne, Sydney or Perth. 
Remuneration: The annual salary for theposition is EL1- $113,357 - $133,423 p.a., plus a generous employersuperannuation contribution of 15.4%.
This position will be non-ongoing for 12 months with thepossibility of extension to ongoing.
About the opportunity: The Assistant Director is primarily responsible for guiding thesuccessful implementation and delivery of the ICT strategy and theoperations to achieve the goals. This will include the outcomes ofthe AAT corporate plan by demonstrating the definitive benefitsrealisation both effectively and efficiently.
You will also lead the performance of the AAT's ICTtechnical delivery teams. The role will deliver actions andinsights into innovation, performance and achieving high qualityservice delivery and technical products.

About you: To be successful you will require:
A clear understanding of and demonstrated experience indeveloping and communicating implementation plans to drivestrategy (and related change planning).Demonstrated experience managing the design, procurement,operation, control, maintenance, and use of technologyservices, achieving required service levels, securityrequirements, quality standards performance monitoring, andalignment of process and practice (across teams).Experience in aligning plans, work packages anddeliverables with expected benefits and ensuring appropriatemeasurement of benefits and user value from technologyservices.Demonstrated capability in workforce planning to ensure theavailability of skilled resources to meet objectives andcommitments, including undertaking current versus future stateskills assessment.Experience managing suppliers to meet key performanceindicators and agreed targets, and ensuring potential disputesor conflicts are raised and resolved.Knowledge of developing innovative processes to driveinnovation, including encouraging and motivating teams andindividuals to share creative ideas and learn fromfailure.Mandatory: Must have or be able to obtainand maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
Desirable: Academic qualification (degree, postgraduate) in technologyand/or aligned qualificationsVocational certification in modern technologies (e.g.,cloud, software, platforms)Vocational certification in software developmentmethodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, XP, SAFe)Vocational certification in modern design and governanceframeworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)Position Eligibility Requirements: The AAT requires Australian Citizenship as a condition ofengagement.
