Senior Tech BA12 month day rate contract plus extensionSydney / MelbourneWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with a focus on the data space to join a dynamic team working on a world class loyalty programme for a well-loved brand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system analysis, application architecture, and system integration analysis.They will play a crucial role in interpreting system information, determining system behavior and recommending improved architectural models as needed. Additionally, experience in cloud computing (AWS) agile methodologies, and data transformation projects will be highly beneficial for this role.If you're a Senior / Lead Tech BA with experience working in data engineering / warehouse environments, this role could be for you!Key Responsibilities:Conduct system analysis by reviewing system/enterprise architecture to determine system behavior, structure, and other features.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Provide expertise in application architecture and design, including the implementation of design patterns and agile development practices.Assess system integration opportunities and recommend solutions to bring systems together seamlessly.Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, open-source frameworks, and data governance.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships at a senior level.Actively participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum, to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently.Contribute to data transformation projects and ensure adherence to data governance frameworks, including data management, quality, privacy, and securityRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on system analysis and architecture.Proficiency in application architecture and design practices, including design patterns, test-driven development, and behavior-driven development.Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with cloud-based applications.Familiarity with open-source frameworks and tools for software development.Proven track record of successfully managing internal and external stakeholders with a customer-centric approach.Self-motivated individual with a strong team spirit and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly Desirable:Experience in data transformation projects and a strong understanding of data governance frameworks.Exposure to data management, quality assurance, data privacy, and security practicesExperienced with AWS cloudProven experience in data governance / privacy is a huge plusExperience working on loyalty data or customer data is also highly advantageous!If you meet the above requirements and are passionate about driving innovation in the data space, we encourage you to apply for this role!Keywords: Technical BA / Agile / AWS / Teradata / Loyalty / Customer Data / Business Analyst / Delivery / Product Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
