The Incubator Branch within Defence Digital Group (DDG) has been established to provide optionality to Defence Capability Managers at speed and scale for best in class global platforms combined with sovereign capability. We are looking for a highly experienced ICT Project Manager to manage the incubation activity workflow of the Branch.
You will:
Support incubation activities from the development of customer use stories to the incubation showcase to stakeholdersCapture demand from Capability Managers and the Defence Digital RoadmapEngage with the Program Management Office to prioritise and log the demandEffectively and efficiently communicate the development of product pipelineMobilise the Incubation teamEngage with Subject Matter Experts to secure additional resourcesThe Branch focuses on providing timely, responsive advice, and leverages rapid proven technology to showcase sub-scale working models. The team will manage requests from initiation to showcase using Scaled Agile methodology to provide technical agility, meeting customer needs of Defence.
The Branch will provide continuous exploration activities to inform and support Defence Continuous Delivery Pipelines.

The recently established Incubator Branch within the Architecture and Strategy Division (DAS) of Defence Digital Group (DDG) is responsible for evaluating best-in-class, sovereign technology and its fit for purpose across Defence Capabilities. Incubation activities are completed in a multi-cloud hosting capability that ensures technology is evaluated against security postures and use cases unique to the Department of Defence. The team operates within an agile delivery methodology that is collaborative, flexible and transparent to stakeholders across the department. Evaluations completed by the branch are used to inform technology choices made by the department in the delivery of its objectives.
