The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare.

The NDIA is seeking experienced evaluation professionals to join the NDIA as EL1 Assistant Director Evaluation within the Evidence and Practice Leadership Branch.
The Evidence and Practice Leadership Branch is responsible for ensuring that NDIA policies, practices and priorities are informed by trustworthy and robust evidence and are implemented to inform a consistent standard of practice.
It conducts high-quality evaluations of programs and services to inform quality improvement and to determine how programs or services are contributing to improving participant or scheme outcomes.
Where you can add value The Assistant Director Evaluation is responsible for supporting the strategic role of evaluation at the NDIA, including developmental approaches delivering practice improvements to improve experience and outcomes for participants.
Leading the design and execution of a range of evaluation projects using a range of quantitative, qualitative and survey methodologies.
Collecting and analysing qualitative evaluation data through interviews and focus groups.
Conduct evaluations across policies, programs and pilots to determine effectiveness, impact, integration through the development of monitoring frameworks and outcomes measures.
Survey design and analysis.

You'll demonstrate a strong record of designing and executing evaluations using a range of quantitative, qualitative and survey methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage with a variety of stakeholders and problem-solving abilities to analyse and resolve complex issues.
Additionally, you will possess excellent decision-making skills, project management abilities, and resource management capabilities to ensure that you can plan, organise and manage multiple projects effectively.

While this role is ideally performed from ACT Deakin, NSW Surry Hills, QLD Brisbane, SA Adelaide, TAS Hobart, VIC Geelong, VIC Richmond, WA Perth, remote working arrangements may be considered.
We intend to fill this role in an ongoing capacity, however non-ongoing roles up to 12 months with the possibility of extension up to 2 years may be offered.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
