Position

Reporting to the EHS Manager, this position is key to the Health Safety and Environmental function across the site. The purpose of this position is to support safety, health and environment across their largest site in the APAC region. This involves partnering with the EHS Manager and Operational team, on site, influencing stakeholders, building strong relationships on site & mentoring a junior safety officer. 

You will drive, strengthen and support the EHS Manager with the implementation policies and procedures along with focusing on implementing a training program, provide injury management and return to work support, conduct risk assessments, support with ICAM investigations and partake in audit preparation. 
Requirements Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety required. Tertiary qualifications preferred.  Strong knowledge in Work Health and Safety legislation.  Understanding of EHS Management systems, technology and tools.   Problem solving and a flexible mindset.  Experience with stakeholder engagement and management.  Strong influencing skills.  Demonstrated ability to take initiative.  Next Steps
