Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Remediation Practice, Quality Assurance and Performance, the Manager, Remediation Practice, QA and Performance is a critical member of AustralianSuper's 1st line Risk and Compliance team.
You will be a key contributor to the design, development and embedding of a scalable, simple and repeatable approach to delivering appropriate and sustainable remediation outcomes for members and the Fund. These approaches and methods must accommodate for the successful integration of uplifted processes or lessons learnt back into BAU and consider the role of our third-party service providers in remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse incidents to form a view on the scope of the remediation. Work with stakeholders to understand what has happened and what should have happened. Review data to confirm what additional information is required to progress the remediation further. Create a scope document confirming what the root cause of the problem was, an estimated number of members impacted and what is required for the remediation. Prepare and progress approval of funding business cases. Utilise existing remediation project end-to-end experience to identify process improvements to support faster and potentially automated remediation. What you'll need: Significant experience working on remediation initiatives. Clear understanding of industry remediation guidance, including RG 277. Previous experience in authoring remediation documents, such as scope, methodology, compensation, communication and payment plans. Developed stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships. Ability to formulate reports and to provide well-considered options for deliberation by management. Developed written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives, and issues to senior management and obtain a decision. Demonstrated ability and a willingness to highlight to management any issues and variations. Demonstrated ability to execute on deliverables. Skilled in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
