The opportunity: The National Claims Coordinator is a key role in the National Supply Chain team, contributing directly to the department's overall performance. You will work in a small autonomous team, overseeing the raising, checking and reconciliation of inventory and sales claims, answer queries from branches and suppliers regarding claims for credit and sales reports, investigate issues as they arise and request maintenance from Accounts Payable and the Master Data teams. The position reports directly to the Head of Demand Planning and frequently interacts with the General Manager Supply Chain.
What you will do: Work in a small, autonomous team of sales claims specialists Raise and review the various types of inventory and sales claims in line with stakeholder agreements and organisation policy Contribute to various projects as assigned by supply chain management Investigate and resolve claim errors from various sources Collate and prepare monthly reporting statistics What we are looking for: We are seeking an enthusiastic team member with a strong attention to detail, an analytical mind, an inquisitive nature and able to work in a small autonomous team. It is critically important to us that a successful applicant brings optimism and a positive attitude to the team. No experience is required, detailed on-the-job training will be provided, however we are seeking an individual that aspires to develop their career.
Skills and experience required: Strong problem solving, analytical and numerical skills Commitment to precision and attention to detail Understanding of the claims process Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Organised, efficient, able to manage time and juggle conflicting priorities Understanding of product pricing and customer deal principles A keen interest in automating workflow via the use of business information systems Advanced standard of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to working as part of a high-performance team.
