About the OpportunityBOSCCA is looking for a part-time Early Childhood Educator based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality educational programs that foster children's growth and well-being.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting with the smooth running of OSHC programs for children aged 5-12Facilitating and extending each child's learning using the My Time Our Place frameworkContributing to planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs to ensure inclusivity and child-focused outcomesBuilding positive relationships with children, families, and staffEnsuring children's health and safety, including managing allergies, first aid, and supervisionAdhering to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and effective learning environmentMaintaining clear, professional communication with all stakeholdersAbout YouTo qualify, you will need to be working towards or have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). A valid Working with Children Check, Child Protection Training, and current First Aid certification will also be required.
Additionally, you will need demonstrated knowledge of My Time Our Place framework and relevant regulations.
