A popular holiday destination, The Port Broughton Hotel is looking for an experienced and dedicated Duty Manager to work closely with Venue Management to deliver memorable experiences to locals and holidaygoers. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and assist across all aspects of the business including our café, bar, bistro, gaming, restaurant, and functions.
Key tasks include: Providing exceptional customer service, motivating the team to provide memorable experiences;Assisting in recruitment, induction, and training of F&B teams, including product education and training, and rostering;Driving events and functions all year round;Providing a supportive and encouraging environment and leading by example;Stock control/stock take and administrative tasks as required;Thriving in a fast-paced environment.About you: To succeed in this role, you will have:
At least 3 years of senior management experience in a similar role;Ability to remain calm and manage time during busy periods;Experience multitasking and managing multiple departments;The ability to analyse situations and make rational and responsible decisions relating to staffing and strategic business issues;Great presentation, attention to detail, cleanliness, and organisation;Flexibility to work across 7 days, with a rotating roster.About Us: Located within walking distance of the foreshore and Port Broughton Jetty, our historic venue was constructed in 1910 and has endless stories and memories inside its walls. As the only pub in town, the beautiful Port Broughton Hotel has something for everyone.
