CSV play a key role in promoting the safety and security of Victorian communities and contribute to social cohesiveness and economic prosperity by resolving disputes and deciding cases within a framework of excellence, timeliness and accessibility.The Drug Court is a statutory division of the Magistrates Court of Victoria and provides an alternative sentencing option for offenders with drug and/ or alcohol dependency. Accused persons are provided with an opportunity to complete a Drug Treatment Order ('DTO') in order to improve participants health and wellbeing, thereby reducing offending behaviour and increasing community safety. Job DescriptionLead and manage a diverse team, including counsellors, clinical advisors, and administrative staffOversee and manage the day to day operations and resources of the Drug Court, including a multidisciplinary team, assets, stakeholders, and resourcesRecruit, develop, and regularly evaluate staff to enhance performance, service delivery, and professional growthIdentify and address service gaps, trends, and resource issues, and coordinate quality assurance systemsContribute to business planning to promote the delivery of a high-quality service The Successful Applicant We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:3+ years experience in a leadership/senior management role supervising staff within a judiciary, welfare, social work or government environmentExperience managing a multi-disciplinary teamCapacity to establish effective working relationships with the judiciary, legal professionals, and service/court staff Ability to foster a collaborative and productive work environmentStrong technical and interpersonal skills.
