As an NRMA Driving Instructor, you'll play a vital role in shaping safer, more skilled drivers—whether they're learners taking the wheel for the first time, seniors staying mobile, or helping businesses keep their employees safe through road safety practices and education.

Educate a diverse range of clients, including learners, seniors, and qualified corporate business customers, promoting positive driving behaviours and safer roads. You will service the Sutherland Shire & South Sydney areas working 38 hrs per week, Monday – Sunday between the hours of 7am – 8pm. Shifts are scheduled based on customer demand, which are more heavily distributed across weekends and before & after school. Rosters will be supplied in advance enabling you with the flexibility to plan for a positive work/life balance.
What You'll Bring Current Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics. Valid NSW C class Driver's Licence and 12+ months experience as a driving instructor in Australia, with TfNSW Safer Drivers Course accreditation. Facilitation skills (Cert IV Training and Assessment) preferred but not essential; however, a willingness to undergo training is a must. Passion and dedication to help our learner drivers of today become safe and independent drivers. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to exude empathy and patience in all interactions. Excellent communication with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individuals. Exceptional understanding and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations. Effective diary management and a strong work ethic, able to tightly manage time and optimise schedule to service customers. Ability to confidently adapt to various customer learning styles, needs, and preferences. A willingness to be upskilled to deliver driver training products such as SDC and NRMA's proprietary Corporate Driver Training program. A team player with a strong work ethic who is flexible and willing to adapt and grow with business demand and requirements. A robust attitude and positive mindset. What's in it for you?
