Position Overview The Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or recently tenured Associate Professor in clinical health psychology. We would be particularly excited to welcome a colleague with a programmatic line of research within clinical health psychology that examines the interplay of psychological, behavioral, social, and/or biological processes in human health and well-being.
Performance Objectives The candidate hired will be expected to maintain an active research program and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Education and Experience Requirements Required: Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in an APA or PCSAS accredited clinical psychology program with a focus on health psychology prior to the expected start of August 15, 2025. ABDs are welcome to apply. Candidates are expected to have a high-quality publication record commensurate with their career stage and a clearly identified fundable research program.
Desired: Candidates that demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate and graduate instruction, interest in clinical training and/or developing clinical training opportunities, and/or that are license eligible in Ohio. Candidates should demonstrate attentiveness to building a diverse intellectual community, in line with OSU's shared values.
