About The Role Band 4 - salary range $88,641 - $125,141 per annum (plus Super) Are you a local Tasmanian - or - are you willing to relocate to scenic Tasmania?
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about safeguarding sensitive company information utilising mobile threat defence, data loss protection (DLP) and other systems to join our Cyber Security team as a DLP and Mobile Threat Defence Specialist.

Key to this newly created role is enhancing TasNetworks' cyber security position through the promotion of DLP culture across the business and providing support through the ongoing development of cyber security analysis capability, directly relating to data protection and mobile threat defence.
What You'll Be Doing Collaborating with a team of cyber experts to develop, embed and sustain agreed cyber security knowledge and objectives.Facilitating committee meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and decision making.Capturing and reporting on DLP metrics and trends to track and identify areas for improvement.Collaborating with the digital team to plan and implement security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and mobile devices.About You First and foremost, you will hold a formal qualification in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field and ideally have demonstrated experience in Data Loss Prevention, Mobile Threat Defence, Information Management or a cyber security related role.
The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with stakeholders of all levels is essential, as is the ability to influence and guide.
To be successful, you will also have:
Strong analytical skills and the proven ability to read, interpret and present complex data.High organisational and time management skills.Knowledge of mobile threat vectors, mobile threat detection tools and mobile threat remediation is highly advantageous, as is utility experience.What's on offer This is a permanent opportunity, working out of our Lenah Valley depot.
