About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer to join the Aurora Energy team. You'll leverage data to support business transformation and customer experience outcomes. You'll be responsible for delivering improvements to Aurora Energy's data and analytics capability, with a focus on short term goals and priorities, along with longer-term strategic outcomes and future state focuses. You'll use your curiosity to deliver cost effective, creative and innovative solutions, advocating data literacy and governance.
About You We are looking for a "guru" who is enthusiastic and passionate about data and has deep experience in data engineering and the delivery of business intelligence and analytics solutions. You will be an expert in aligning the capability of data warehousing, analytics and integration platforms, combined with applying new and emerging technologies to achieve business outcomes.
As a thought leader, you will engage with internal and external stakeholders and partners to help shape the use of data. You will apply analytical thinking to complex problems within a complicated environment and be able to clearly and succinctly communicate recommendations and advice. Your pursuit of simple and elegant solutions will help to drive Aurora's architectural aspirations and lift overall platform and data maturity.
Finally, you will be able to demonstrate a significant level of experience in the data field and/or hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
