Join the adidas team as a District Manager, where you'll drive your district's profitability by coaching Store Managers to achieve sales and service excellence while ensuring compliance with brand standards. Take full ownership of the district, fostering a high-performance culture through structured store visits, training, and strategic leadership.

PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION: Drive your district's profitability by:Meeting or exceeding district sales and profit targetsCoaching Store Managers to drive commercial success and excel in customer serviceEnsuring proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives and directivesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Take full ownership of the district and its commercial successAnalyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo with both Retail Back Office partners and Store ManagersCoach Store Managers to increase their stores' sales, productivity and profitabilityEnsure the legal and financial integrity of the district's store portfolioDrive a service and selling culture in the districtSpend focused time on the sales floor during store visits to determine service improvement opportunities and to coach the Store ManagersBe a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and ValuesEnsure proper in-store Brand execution, according to established standards and directives, in all stores within the districtFacilitate the effective and timely delivery and execution of Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product training materials in the storesPlan and prioritize structured store visits to maximize the district's performanceDedicate a minimum of 3½ days per week to completing store visits and ensure all stores in the district are visited at least once per month (exceptions must be approved by the Market Retail Director)Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, initiatives and directivesAssess and make recommendations to improve the commercial viability and availability of products for the district's storesManage loss prevention as well as health and safety risksLead the recruitment, on-boarding, training and development efforts in the districtOwn succession planning for the districtEnsure compliance to established HR policies and proceduresCreate a high performance culture by setting clear expectations, analyzing performance and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performanceCoach, motivate and inspire Store Managers to accomplish store goals and maximize their individual performance, both face-to-face and remotelyShare best practices to drive overall Market and Global retail performanceComplete all applicable training programs and effectively apply the learning on the jobSeek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve your performanceKEY RELATIONSHIPS: CustomersPeers and SupervisorVendors and Support Functions (i.e., Visual Merchandising, Facility Services, etc.)Local Administration (i.e., mall management)KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 18 months work experience in a sports/fashion customer- and commercial- focused retail environment with a minimum of 12 months of Multi-Store Management responsibilityAdvanced numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skillsGeographical mobilityBasic English skills (for non-English speaking markets)adidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness and encourages individual expression in our workplace.
