About the Role This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a client with a disability at Fig Tree Pocket. You will provide support to an individual in our Lifestyle Support program. This casual role offers shifts from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday. Experience with restrictive practices, managing challenging behaviours, and providing dementia care is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities Day to day care (including personal care) and supervisionMaintain & Monitor Person Centred PlansFacilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activitiesMaintain thorough record keepingBuild positive relationships with clients, families and colleaguesAdvocate for client choice and controlSkills & Experience Experience working with people with disability and behaviours of concernAn understanding of dementia careA current First Aid and CPR CertificateSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
