About the Role
This is a casual Disability Support Worker position based in Emerald, with shifts available across early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and active awake hours.
In this role, you will work both individually and as part of a team to support our customers in their Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and within the community. You'll assist individuals with various disabilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and help create a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. Other responsibilities may include: Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility and physical support, including transferring and positioning. Performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and managing laundry. Administer medications and manage medical appointments as required. Providing companionship and emotional support. Maintain accurate records of support provided, including progress notes and incident reports. The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain:
Valid drivers licence (P2 or open) CPR and First Aid certificate NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card) Working with Children Check (blue card) NDIS orientation module certificate About Multicap
