Disability Support Practitioner - Day Program

We are looking for a passionate, empathetic Support Worker with a can-do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Lifestyles, on a Casual basis.
About the role Your role centres on supporting people with disability to live meaningful lives, and actively drive their own decisions and goals.

We match clients with disability support workers that are tailored to their needs, interests and passions in life.
The Benefits Our team is vibrant, inclusive and creative Attractive hourly rate ($33.42) + Super + Casual Loading + Penalty Rates Ongoing professional development, including Certificate III and IV in Disability Discounted gym membership for you and your family, using Fitness Passport Your Responsibilities Include: Supporting clients to build new skills through the delivery of person-centred, innovative programs such as arts & craft, music, health & fitness Assisting clients with mealtimes, personal care and medication Accompanying clients on community access, such as social events, recreation or sporting activities Supporting clients with transport e.g. using CPA minivan Requirements Available for a minimum of 3 days per week, 3 to 6 hours a day Available to work minimum 2 days a week during school holidays and 1 x Saturday every few weeks Flexibility to work across different locations - Umina, Wyong and Long Jetty Valid driver's license (to drive across locations) Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities to reach their goal So if you are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities, join us at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Lifestyles.
