Getting to know the Administrative Review Tribunal: The ART plays a crucial role in the Australian legal landscape, providing a process for individuals and organisations to seek an independent review of decisions made under a wide range of Commonwealth laws. The ART can take a fresh look at decisions made by Australian Government ministers, departments and agencies – and, in limited circumstances, decisions made by state government and non-government bodies. It also can review decisions made under Norfolk Island laws. The ART comprises members, the independent statutory appointees who hear review applications, and staff, who provide services to support applicants and the review process, as well as the Tribunal's daily operations. You can learn more about the ART here: https://www.art.gov.au/.
