Position Profile: The Director Strategy, Change and Service Development is responsible for the development and implementation of region-wide strategy (linked to WACHS Strategic Plan), service planning, engagement, change and service redesign with a focus on regional service priorities; supporting systems and processes across the Kimberley and Pilbara regions; addressing service change risk and optimising improvement through innovation and engagement as prioritised by the Executive Director.
This position works collaboratively with program, clinical and regional leads, and provides internal and external stakeholder relationship advice, support and assurance.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area.
The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
