Theodore Multipurpose Health Service | Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service About the role: The Director of Nursing is responsible for the efficient and effective use of human and material resources in Theodore MPHS, based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) - Registered Nurse Standards of Practice. They will also partner with other members of the leadership team to operationalise clinical and corporate governance. They also employ professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing and midwifery executive and multidisciplinary stakeholders. About you: Mandatory qualifications: Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate. This appointment has been identified as 'key personnel' for the purposes of the Aged Care Act 1997. Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant nursing postgraduate qualification at an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) level 9 (Master's Degree) would be highly desirable for this role.
