Possum Magic Cottage is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director / Nominated Supervisor to join the team. This is a rare opportunity at our small 24 place centre, educating and caring for children aged 2-6 years, located in Kanwal, NSW 2259.
Our service has been established for over 20 years and is currently rated as exceeding. We have formed strong relationships with our long term families and current staff and children, who are all looking forward to welcoming you!
We ideally are seeking someone with experience in the management of Early Childhood Education and Care services, or someone with extensive experience within the sector including strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework. A minimum qualification of Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
As the Director / Nominated Supervisor of our service, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the service, including reporting to our service owner, communicating with families, administrative tasks, overseeing the program, staffing, compliance, enrolments, and accounts, while ensuring our service continues to provide high quality education and care in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations.
This role is being offered on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week), where you will receive both non-contact time as well as working directly with the children at times.
You must be passionate, caring and organised with strong leadership skills. Knowledge of Qikkids software is preferred, and confidence in the use of technology is essential.
