As a Director within the Listed Equities Team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our Listed Equities (LE) strategy, which captures and enhances the risk premia of listed equity markets. You will lead the development, research, and implementation of solutions for investment problems, holding a combination of deep domain expertise and proven people management skills.
The key duties of the position include:The role focuses on contributing to the development and execution of the Listed Equities (LE) strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall portfolio's risk and return objectives. This involves selecting the appropriate investment approach, conducting manager due diligence, legal negotiations, and ongoing monitoring. The strategy integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), as well as climate transition factors into investment decisions.
Strong people leadership and relationship management are central to the role. You will mentor and develop team members, contribute to recruitment efforts, and support a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Minimum RequirementsCandidates should hold a university degree in disciplines such as Economics, Commerce, Finance, or Engineering, with postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) considered highly desirable. Candidates should possess substantial expertise in listed equities markets and strategies, preferably with global or emerging markets exposure.
Key competencies for success include collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to engage in robust yet respectful debate, invite diverse viewpoints, and work effectively with various stakeholders.
