A statewide critical frontline services agency is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director Infrastructure to lead and manage key infrastructure projects across multiple sites. This pivotal role will involve developing and executing state-wide infrastructure strategies that align with expansion and asset management priorities.

About the Role:
As the Director of Infrastructure, you will:
Lead the development of infrastructure strategies and ensure alignment with QCS priorities.Manage budgets, resources, and project delivery for major capital and minor works projects.Oversee infrastructure project delivery from planning to handover, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, to deliver seamless project execution.Play a key leadership role in developing a strong team culture and fostering innovation in infrastructure planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Effective management of capital works and minor projects.Strategic infrastructure planning that focuses on sustainability, safety, and security.Lead infrastructure recovery and business continuity planning in response to disaster incidents.Engage with key stakeholders to influence infrastructure priorities.Provide leadership to ensure high standards of accountability and performance within the team.
About the ideal Candidate: Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed, multi-site infrastructure portfolios.Strong understanding of high-security facility management, including technology-reliant systems such as electronic and cyber security.Experience in tender, contract management, and financial analytics.Proven leadership experience in team building, project management, and stakeholder engagement.Ability to travel to different sites across Queensland as required.Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Engineering (Civil/Structural), or a similar discipline.Construction White Card or ability to obtain within 3 months.Membership in a relevant professional body (preferred).
