About the role: Joining MUFG as Director, where you will lead and supervise the Securitisation Department in Oceania, focusing on and coordinating the continued strong growth of the business by enhancing the collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., Coverage, Risk/Credit, Operation, etc.) and propelling the business forward.
You will work under the guidance and leadership of the Head of Securitisation APAC, with a dotted reporting line to the Head of AIBD Oceania.
What you'll be doing: As Director, your key role will be to provide leadership and management of Securitisation business in Oceania. This role will also include:
Business Leadership: Lead and supervise marketing, origination, structuring, and execution of transactions.Securitisation Strategy: Contribution to and execution of Oceania Securitisation strategy; review and adjust the strategy to ensure sustainable growth; grow the business in a sustainable manner.Enhance Collaboration: Be a leading example of collaboration with local, regional, and global teams; collaborate with sector coverage bankers and RMs (both GCIB and JCIB) to enhance client relationships and expand the client base, in line with MTBP strategy.Human Capital: Lead and develop a high-performing team in Oceania with support from Head of Securitisation APAC and Head of AIBD Oceania; lead team members in their career development to maximise the team's potential and ensure staff development.What we are looking for: 10+ years experience within banking or finance, preferably experience in Securitisation and/or Structured Finance.Undergraduate Business/Commerce/Law Degree from a leading university is essential.Demonstrable experience in excellent client coverage and leadership.Extensive market and industry knowledge.Strong business acumen and ability to develop new revenue/cross selling opportunities.Good communication skills with the ability to influence others.Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.Previous experience in a leadership role providing guidance and mentorship to a developing team.Our culture: MUFG fosters a highly professional, supportive work environment that enables our employees to help maximize our customers' prosperity.
