This Opportunity: The purpose of the position is to drive acquisition and delivery ofPalladium's employment and human services programs by identifying clientsacross the Australian government; shaping Palladium's domestic offerings;building client relationships; establishing Palladium's brand; bidding andtendering for large programmes and delivering excellence across the portfolioof programs.
In the UK, Palladium has successfully diversifiedinto the delivery of domestic Employment and Human Services, which we aredelivering alongside our established international project portfolio. Thisposition would be responsible for replicating this approach into the Australiandomestic space with a key focus on clients including (but not limited to) theDepartment of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR); the Departmentof Social Services (DSS); and the Department for Home Affairs.
Forany programs we are successful in bidding for, the role will also ensure thatour projects are mobilised and delivered to client requirements and Palladiumquality standards; that the programs deliver against forecast; that solutionsremain at the forefront of industry requirements, and that project teams areeffectively resourced and managed.

Reporting and Supervision: The role reports to the Global Director for Employability andCommunity Services. Reporting requirements include:
Attendance at all management and team meetings and any others as required
Weekly update calls in coordination with you supervisor
A monthly management report pertaining to your key performance indicators as well as any other important areas of concern, including exception reports as and when required
PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities: Theprimary responsibilities of this role include:
Work closely with Palladium's Global Employability and Community Services Director to develop and deliver a market entry strategy for Palladium into the Australian Employment and Human Services market
Build a team of business development and project delivery professionals to generate growth in Palladium's Australian Employment and Human Services Provision (initially this role will be supported by the UK Employability and Community Services team and their associates)
Developing and executing a cohesive growth strategy for Employment and Human Services Provision, ensuring alignment with Palladium's overarching strategy and vision
Strategically managing the Australian Employment and Human Services pipeline, fostering a proactive and innovative approach to business development and utilizing your strong market knowledge and relationships to pursue new client and business opportunities. This includes:
Establishing and reinforcing Palladium's reputation
Identifying and developing new business opportunities to secure commercially viable contracts
Conducting research and analysis on client requirements
Leading bids
Sustaining Palladium's BD processes and ambitious conversion rates
Leading programme delivery of large Employment and Human Services Provision contracts including:
Mobilizing and Delivering programmes against client expectations and in accordance with Palladium's policies and operational procedures
Supporting the Project Teams, both in house personnel and fixed-term consultants, to understand the client needs, set the program up for success and establish well-performing teams
Delivering programs according to financial forecast and maintaining, or increasing, project income targets
Managing client relationships and enhancing client trust in Palladium
Directing and leading quality assurance initiatives across the portfolio and instituting improvement measures and innovation
Working with other practice areas and business units to connect our thinking enabling us to provide more integrated development services and solutions
Experience of tendering for and implementing large Australian Employment and Human Services contracts
Significant prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams within a commercial organization, ideally involved in the provision of services to the Australian government
Proven track record of driving strategic growth via a combination of new client business development (tendering and bid development) and strong client relationship management for existing clients
In-depth knowledge of the economic, social, and political context in Australia and a strong network of contacts across public, private and not-for-profit sectors
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence a wide variety of stakeholders with differing levels of commercial acumen
Demonstrated ability to drive a high performing culture, while simultaneously creating an inclusive and enabling work environment with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion
Strong writing skills and attention to detail and quality
Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports
Preferred or desired, but not requiredto carry out the role
