The opportunity
As the Director of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for managing and leading corporate initiatives that support the achievement of Hearing Australia's operational and financial targets and ensure the organisation meets in full its legal, risk, WHS and compliance requirements.
This involves working proactively and collaboratively with the Managing Director, the Executive team and senior leaders across the organisation while fostering and developing high performing teams.
The role also requires a balance of strategic vision, excellent stakeholder management skills, a strong understanding of Hearing Australia's corporate governance requirements, and the capacity to deliver in a fast moving and geographically diverse organisation.

Key focus areas
Your expertise and leadership will focus on:
Organisational leadership: The provision of strategic leadership to the Board, the Executive team and senior leaders in relation to the design and delivery of Hearing Australia's corporate services.
This includes leading a high-performing team and developing talent within the team.
Delivering outstanding people services: Driving innovation and enhancements to Hearing Australia's people function and services, thereby improving workforce performance and engagement.
Provision of high-quality legal services: Managing a team which provides legal advice and support across a broad range of matters.
Compliance and risk management: Leading a team responsible for Hearing Australia's risk management and compliance functions and building a proactive, risk-conscious culture throughout the organisation.
Managing WHS: Lead a team responsible for ensuring Hearing Australia's WHS management system is effective and compliant with applicable legislation.
Internal and corporate communications: Leading internal and corporate communications campaigns which support Hearing Australia's priorities and people.
Property management: Managing the team responsible for Hearing Australia's property footprint and ensuring it delivers maximum commercial outcomes.
Security and business continuity: As Hearing Australia's Chief Security Officer proactively ensure Hearing Australia's meets in full its protective security requirements and has effective business continuity and emergency management arrangements.
Financial management and performance monitoring: Manage and maximise the value of the funding and resources allocated to Hearing Australia's corporate services and proactively improve the return on investment in these services.
What you'll need to be successful
In order to succeed you need to have:
The demonstrated ability to lead a Corporate Services Group to deliver real value to an organisation and the achievement of operational and financial targets.
Proven enterprise leadership and the ability to actively engage, inspire and support the executive team, the Board and key internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to oversee multiple professional workstreams, drive productivity enhancements, measure performance and lead cultural change.
The ability to think and act strategically and to harness information and opportunities.
Ideally you will also have:
A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in law, business, accounting or a related discipline.

Salary: Attractive salary plus 15.4% Superannuation.
