About the Role This is a five year fixed-term SES 1 role. The Director Commercial Delivery is a key member of the Precinct Delivery leadership team, responsible for providing strategic commercial advice and overseeing the delivery of high-profile precinct projects. This role is critical in driving strategic planning, commercial delivery, and project management to ensure the success of major precinct developments. In particular, the Director will play a pivotal role in the leadership and delivery of the Fishermans Bend Innovation Precinct, working closely with government and industry partners. This includes leading a team of precinct and project specialists to manage the development and investment in significant precincts and projects. The Director will also foster strong partnerships to ensure projects align with government policy objectives and are delivered effectively. The role requires collaboration across government, including ministerial offices and senior representatives from various agencies, as well as the private sector. The Director will also lead efforts in investment attraction and engage in complex negotiations with private sector investors and partners to secure successful outcomes for specific precincts and economic projects.
