The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations in South East Queensland.
The Quality and Innovation Unit provides leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans, programs, models, and policies for improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Well-being. The Unit oversees key functions of service planning, data and health information management, innovation in service design and development, healthcare quality and safety, public health, and evaluation and research.
About the RoleIUIH is looking for a Digital Project Officer on a 12-month contract that will be responsible for championing and supporting the implementation of digital projects at IUIH, including but not limited to, the implementation of a Project Management Framework and Digital Tool.
The Digital Project Officer works closely with the IUIH Digital Innovation Manager and Service Development Team, coordinating teams, resources and activities to ensure the smooth, efficient and effective implementation of digital projects.
Day to Day Activities Include:Contributing to the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the new Project Management Framework and associated Digital Tool.Assisting in the implementation and ongoing development and improvement of the Digital Project Management Tool.Contributing to the development and management of a phased rollout, including working alongside pilot groups to resolve any issues, provide support and identify process improvements.Supporting the regular review and refinement of the framework and digital tool in response to ongoing input and feedback and assist in post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions.Acting as a point of contact for team members, clients, and stakeholders regarding project updates and inquiries.Assisting with creating and supporting project management resources and training.Coordinating the calendars, requests, correspondence, and reporting for digital projects.About YouStrong interest and skills in utilising digital technology; or passion for learning and developing further skills in this area.High level communication skills – in particular, the ability to work relationally, to share knowledge and skills, and to communicate technical information in ways that inspire and build knowledge for a wide variety of audiences/stakeholders.Criminal History Check, Blue Card, and Yellow Card (prior to commencement).Desirable, but not mandatory:Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities.What Can We Offer?At IUIH we recognise that we operate in a diverse community and welcome and encourage applications from all ages and genders, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, the LGBTIQ+ community, veterans, refugees, and people with disability.
